New rules for sponsored teams.
Up until now we’ve taken the sponsoring thing pretty easy… However, now things need to change.
You see we get a lot of requests for sponsorship… I mean a lot. Like half of our support emails are just people who think they are badass and want a free game server on that context alone. Their rebuttals are normally things like: “Man, I could get you SO much business!!” or “I promise I can sell a server in the first week, just give me a shot.”.
Sadly, from our experience, hardly any team is ever worth the time. Team break up, teams disband, teams get bored with the game, teams suck and teams are even made up to get free stuff. We’re laying down some laws and guidelines for the future.

We have cheap prices at HostedGameServers.com. Thats why we don’t have room for teams that don’t make us subscriptions. Teams who fail to lead to new server registrations, no matter who you are, are vulnerable to having their sponsoring canceled and perks revoked. This isn’t because we don’t like anyone, but this is purely a business relationship.
